Back from Thailand. Spent 4 days, here's the breakdown:
Accommodation: Budget hotel near the action. $55/night.
Scene: Absolutely packed — no shortage of options.
Prices: On par with forum reports.
Highlights: The nightlife area was incredible.
Overall: 7/10 — good but not my favorite.
Ask me anything.

Been going for years. The scene has shifted a bit but still good.

Adding my experience from February.
The scene has stayed the same since pre-COVID. Biggest change: more online activity.

This is outdated info IMO. Things have changed since the new laws came in. Current prices are higher than what's described here.

Hmm, I had a different experience. Prices were higher when I went. Maybe timing matters.

Interesting take but I think you overpaid. Try going midweek next time.

I'd rate it similarly. Solid 9/10 destination.

This matches my experience. Thailand is one of my favorites.
