I visited Turkey recently for 7 days and had a really enjoyable experience.

The scene is As described in recent reports. Some negotiation possible midweek.

Spent about $103/day on the hobby side. Best part was the friendliness.

Overall: 8.5/10. One of my favourites.

Happy to answer questions.

Any restaurant recs for the daytime?

Interesting take but I think you overpaid. Try negotiating next time.

I was there in February and prices were exactly as described.

Spent about $75/day all-in. Quality was good.

My tip: go early evening for best selection.

Great report, thanks for sharing. I had a similar experience there last month.

I'd rate it similarly. Solid 7/10 destination.

Hmm, I had a different experience. Prices were higher when I went. Maybe timing matters.

With respect, my experience was more mixed. But maybe I went at the wrong time.

Can confirm. Was there 2 weeks ago and everything checks out.
