I have visited Romania several times and wanted to share thoughts on the best areas.

Main Scene Area:
The primary area is the downtown district. Highest concentration of venues and freelancers. Can be overwhelming at first but you learn the layout quickly.

Alternative Areas:
Local areas have options but only for experienced visitors.

Areas to Avoid:
Stay away from port/station area at night.

Accommodation:
Check the country guide for specific guest-friendly hotel names.

Hope this helps anyone planning their first visit.

With respect, my experience was more mixed. But maybe I went at the wrong time.

Good info. I'd add that going during the week is much better — less crowded, better prices.

What was your total spend roughly? Trying to budget for mine.

Agreed on all points. Make sure to use a VPN.

I'd also recommend downloading WhatsApp before you go. Essential.

This is outdated info IMO. Things have changed since last year. Current prices are higher than what's described here.

How does it compare to Czech Republic?

Interesting take but I think you overpaid. Try using a different site next time.

Spot on with the prices. That matches what I paid in February.

Did you use an agency or find girls at bars?

Not sure I agree about that area. I found the outskirts to be better value.
